The 88-key Linear Graded Hammers system provides a distinct weight grading on every key, emulating the behavior of a grand piano across the entire register.

The CLP-875 incorporates Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM), which simulates in real-time the resonances of sympathetic strings, soundboard, and cabinet, based on pedal usage and note layering.

The Grand Expression Modeling technology translates the depth, speed, and intensity of the key press into natural tonal and dynamic changes, allowing for the control of phrasing and articulation very similarly to an acoustic grand piano.
