Our experience and our expertise in the transportation of concert pianos, coupled with the knowledge of our technicians, will guarantee you a professional, fast and modern service that will make your event or concert a great success.

The pianos of Royal Pianos, feature in many music festivals throughout the region. We provide pianos for entertainment service companies, music schools, foundations and town halls etc. In total we provide pianos for over 500 concerts a year.

Royal Pianos takes pride in our highly trained staff who ensures that all piano transportation is carried out in a safe and efficient way, using only the best machinery and equipment to move both upright and grand pianos. With our ‘Pianoplan’ robot, we can carefully transport a piano up or down stairs, and we also utilise specially adapted trolleys, ramps and protective covers. We understand how a piano is a very precious item and therefore we treat each one with absolute care, and all piano transportation is covered by insurance.

Thanks to our alliances with specialised partners throughout the national and international territories, we can bring any piano to any part of the world. We especially make scheduled trips to Northern Europe. Our pianos are never handled or processed by conventional parcel or transport companies who may move home contents etc. Our recommendation is not to leave something so precious in unskilled hands. Royal Pianos also has a special store that caters exclusively for piano storage, where all pianos are protected with special covers adapted to the size of each piano. The monthly cost is 40 €. PIANO TUNING

Royal Pianos employ the best piano tuners for both concert hire and our clients’ general tuning needs. Our tuners are registered with PTA (Piano Tunner Association) and in addition our tuners constantly update these skills with training courses by Bösendorfer.

Voicing.

To voice a piano is to adjust the quality of the sound. This is done by changing the density of the piano hammers. In short, if the piano hammer felt is tightened, the tone sounds brighter and if the piano hammers are loosened, the tone becomes sweeter.

Mechanism regulation.

The mechanics of a piano require periodic adjustment to compensate for the various effects of prolonged use. This includes the tightness and solidity of the individual parts, settlement of the felts, and the changes in the wood due to weather conditions. Therefore, adjustments are made to regulate the piano. Thereafter, the amount of regulation required will depend on the amount of use.

PIANO RESTORATION

We understand how important a particular piano can be for our clients. The piano may have been handed down from another generation or it may have personal meaning and significance. Maybe it is the piano of your dreams and you simply want it restored to it´s original beautiful condition and sound. Royal Pianos has a team of technicians specialising in everything related to the exciting world of pianos. One of the services that we are proud to offer is the restoration of all kinds of acoustic pianos. Our company is able to transform and give new life to pianos regardless of their state. Our work is 100% handcrafted and we perform this type of work with sensitivity and due care is given to every part of the piano. The PianoCD system provides the playback of your favourite music in highest quality, using the most modern technology. The flat, appealingly designed and very thin PianoCD control unit was created in such a way, that it can become an independent control unit or also can be used with the existing PDS-128 system. Once connected with a PDS-128 PLUS system it adds to PDS-128 PLUS CD functions, which otherwise only can be obtained with an external CD-player. By pulling a discreet lever, a mute rail is activated which places itselt between the piano’s hammers and its strings. Your instrument can be played as a Silent Piano, a normal acoustic piano or an acoustic piano with accompaniment.
