The Yamaha B30TC3 Piano represents the most advanced model in Yamaha’s B Series, combining greater acoustic projection with innovative TransAcoustic™ TC3 technology.

Thanks to this system, it is possible to control the instrument’s volume while maintaining the natural resonance of the soundboard, delivering a far more immersive and organic experience than a conventional digital piano.

With dimensions of 121 cm high, 153 cm wide and 62 cm deep, the Yamaha B30TC3 provides the greatest tonal richness, depth and dynamic range within the B Series.

What Is TransAcoustic™ Technology?

TransAcoustic™ technology uses an internal transducer that transforms the piano’s soundboard into a natural speaker.

This allows the volume to be controlled while the instrument continues to vibrate and project sound physically through the piano itself.

The result is a much more authentic and immersive acoustic experience, even at low volume, allowing you to feel the instrument’s natural resonance without relying exclusively on headphones.

The TC3 system also incorporates Yamaha technologies such as binaural sampling, Grand Expression Modeling and non-contact sensors to preserve authentic touch and playing precision.

Thanks to its larger size and expanded resonance surface, the Yamaha B30TC3 delivers broader sound projection and a richer, more expressive acoustic response.

Its greater height and depth allow for longer bass strings and a larger resonance surface, delivering a more powerful, deeper and balanced sound.

In addition, its five back posts help reinforce structural stability and maintain consistent resonance even after intensive use.

Differences Compared to the Yamaha B3 TransAcoustic™

The Yamaha B30TC3 Piano replaces the previous Yamaha B3 TransAcoustic™ while maintaining the 121 cm height, but incorporating significant improvements in resonance, design and playing experience.

It includes new hammers, an optimised soundboard, enlarged music rest and integrated soft-close mechanism, providing more comfortable performance and a more refined tonal response.

The wider music rest makes practising with large sheet music easier and adds a modern and functional aesthetic.
