Pre-Owned Piano: High-End Quality at an Unbeatable Price

Pre-Owned Piano: High-End Quality at an Unbeatable Price

At Royal Pianos, we understand that buying a piano is an important decision, both musically and financially.

That is why we offer a carefully selected range of pre-owned and nearly new pianos, inspected by specialised technicians, allowing you to enjoy the excellence of renowned brands at a much more accessible price.

Pre-owned or nearly new pianos are a unique opportunity for pianists looking for high-end instruments with professional sound and impeccable aesthetics, but at a reduced cost.

Why choose a pre-owned piano?

At Royal Pianos, a pre-owned or nearly new piano is not just a used instrument. These are acoustic pianos carefully selected by our team, often previously owned by demanding private customers.

Some have been used in concert halls, while others were part of our showroom collection.

Every pre-owned piano goes through a thorough process of technical inspection, tuning, cleaning and, when necessary, cosmetic restoration.

The result is an instrument in exceptional condition, ready to be enjoyed for generations.

Differences between a grand piano and an upright piano

Choosing the right type of piano is essential, and it depends on the available space, the pianist’s level and how the instrument will be used.

Grand piano

• Rich, deep and enveloping sound thanks to its large soundboard.
• Horizontal action with greater precision and sensitivity.
• Impressive aesthetics, ideal for living rooms and spacious interiors.
• Perfect for professional pianists, advanced performers, conservatories and concert halls.

Current example available:

• Yamaha C3 grand piano (pre-owned) – Japanese quality, with a warm tone and outstanding projection, ideal for demanding musicians.

Upright piano

• Compact size, ideal for homes, studios and music schools.
• Efficient and expressive vertical action.
• Excellent sound, especially in high-end models.
• Perfect for students, teachers and pianists who want a great instrument without taking up too much space.

Featured models in our pre-owned catalogue:

• Yamaha U3 (1969) – A professional standard, robust and with excellent tonal response.
• Kawai US50 – A powerful upright piano with precise action, ideal for intensive daily use.
