Yamaha CFX Disklavier Enspire Pro

Description

Yamaha CFX Disklavier. The pianos in the CF Series are renowned for their exceptionally broad tonal palette and their ability to produce the most subtle expressive nuances. They are capable of “singing” musical phrases with remarkable depth and expression. The CFX Concert Grand features powerful bass tones that project effortlessly above the sound of a full symphony orchestra across every register, even in the largest concert halls.

Yamaha CFX Disklavier. Piano Structure

The shape, thickness, and manufacturing process of the back frame and braces have been completely redesigned. The one-piece inner and outer rim is now produced using a newly developed manufacturing process created by Yamaha’s master craftsmen. The result is a rich, deep tone with outstanding projection capable of filling even the largest concert venues.

Yamaha CFX Disklavier. Ribs and Soundboard

Only the finest carefully selected European spruce is used for the soundboard. A newly developed method of attaching the ribs to the soundboard minimizes internal stress, allowing the board to vibrate more freely and produce rich harmonics with an exceptionally wide range of expressive tonal colors.

Cast Iron Frame

Each cast iron frame is individually sand-cast by hand to maximize strength and structural stability. This contributes significantly to the exceptional tonal character and long-term durability of the CF Series. The CF6 and CF4 also feature a specially designed insert block that improves note attack and durability.

Hammers

The hammers play a crucial role in tonal clarity, character, projection, and sustain. Yamaha uses only the highest-quality materials and specialized treatments to ensure optimal performance while maintaining stability under changes in temperature and humidity.

Strings

Every aspect of the piano strings has been carefully researched, from harmonic vibration patterns to their response when struck by the hammers. Both the materials and manufacturing process are of the highest quality, while the bass strings are individually hand-wound by skilled Yamaha craftsmen.

Appearance

The CF Series features an elegant silhouette that perfectly reflects the purity and refinement of its sound. Unnecessary ornamentation has been eliminated in favor of a clean, contemporary design, allowing the piano’s visual beauty to match its extraordinary musical performance.

Finish

The wood used in the CF Series is meticulously hand-finished through multiple sanding stages using progressively finer grades of sandpaper. Each coat of finish is individually applied by hand, resulting in an exceptionally elegant polished ebony finish of outstanding beauty.

Pedal Lyre

The modern pedal lyre complements the clean lines of the piano legs while providing greater durability and structural strength than previous Yamaha designs.

Lid Finish

To prevent stage lighting from reflecting into the eyes of orchestra musicians, the CFX features a matte-finished inner lid. The CF6 and CF4 are supplied with a polished finish as standard, although a matte finish is also available upon special order.

Keyboard

The white keys are covered with Yamaha’s exclusive Ivorite™ material, providing the appearance and feel of natural ivory while offering exceptional comfort and grip. The black keys are crafted from carefully selected premium ebony.

Invisible Technology

The discreetly integrated control unit provides simple operation while remaining virtually invisible, preserving the elegant appearance expected from a Yamaha grand piano.

Effortless Integration

Wireless connectivity and compatibility with smartphones, tablets, and computers allow you to control every function of your piano easily from anywhere in your home.

Every Note, Every Nuance

Disklavier ENSPIRE is the only reproducing piano capable of capturing and recreating every nuance of a performance with extraordinary accuracy. Unlike conventional player piano systems that ignore key-release information, causing every note to end in the same manner, Disklavier ENSPIRE precisely records the timing and speed at which each key is released. This allows the dampers to return to the strings exactly as the pianist intended, preserving every musical detail.

Combined with Yamaha’s advanced DSP AccuPlay technology, the instrument faithfully reproduces the original articulation while continuously self-calibrating during playback to ensure consistently perfect performance.

Always One Step Ahead

The new Disklavier ENSPIRE PRO is the only instrument capable of high-resolution recording and playback entirely on its own. Using Yamaha’s advanced optical sensing technology, the system captures every movement of every key, hammer, and pedal with exceptional precision. This enables performances to be reproduced with unparalleled realism, while also making ENSPIRE PRO an invaluable tool for professional recording studios. The technology itself is simply the means to achieve complete musical authenticity.

Technological Inspiration

The remarkable precision of the ENSPIRE system allows performances—whether your own or those of the world’s greatest pianists—to be analyzed in detail, making it an exceptional educational tool for pianists of every level. In addition, Yamaha’s patented video synchronization technology enables educators to create, preserve, and share instructional content regardless of distance.

Yamaha CFX Disklavier. The Sound of Innovation

Yamaha’s SILENT Piano™ technology allows you to practice, learn, and perform without disturbing others or being disturbed. Integrated into every Disklavier ENSPIRE model, this innovative system provides even greater flexibility and expands the ways you can enjoy your piano.

Thanks to binaural sampling technology, wearing headphones places you virtually in front of a Yamaha CFX concert grand. The sound surrounds you with such astonishing realism that you’ll find yourself removing the headphones just to confirm the acoustic piano is not actually playing. This immersive technology comes standard on every new Disklavier ENSPIRE model.
