Description

The Steinway & Sons tradition was founded by master craftsmen, trained in the best European tradition. They built the pianos one by one, applying techniques transmitted from teacher to apprentice generation after generation. Currently the pianos are still being built in the same way. No hurries. The woods that have previously been carefully selected and that will eventually become rings, tops, harmonic boards and mechanisms, are cured for months in STEINWAY facilities until the moisture content is stabilized at strictly specified values.
