Control the volume of your piano: There are times when the sound of an acoustic piano may not be appreciated by your family or neighbors. For these situations, you simply have to activate the TransAcoustic function and the hammers no longer hit the strings. The sensors below each key detect the depth of each pulse, its speed, and the time at which it occurs and sends this information to the tone generator. We can adjust the volume and adapt it to our needs. It is not necessary to use headphones or external amplification.
Technology SILENT Piano SH:
Yamaha’s renowned SILENT SH technology lets you conduct studio sessions with headphones. TransAcoustic pianos also feature a binaural sample of the Yamaha CFX concert piano, recorded using special techniques to perfectly capture the sound from the pianist’s natural playing position. These two technologies adapt to all situations so that you can play without disturbing others.
Play with accompaniment:
Enjoy playing along with any of the 50 preset songs that come with the TransAcoustic™, accompanying your playing with songs you have recorded yourself, or even with commercially available songs played back through the sound board. You can be as creative as you want, with this feature, you can, for example, play a duet with yourself or just listen to the recordings.
Choose between different sounds:
The TransAcoustic piano offers 19 additional sounds, allowing you to select the perfect voice to match the musical genre you are playing. It includes digital pianos, harpsichords, vibrators, pipes or jazz organs, strings, choruses and synthesizers. The TransAcoustic is perfect for use in jazz venues, hotels, restaurants, churches almost anywhere you can imagine. All voices are emitted through the sound board . That is why playing a TransAcoustic piano is a unique experience. It combines acoustic and digital sounds. Thanks to their unique construction, TransAcoustic pianos allow you to superimpose the natural sound of the acoustic piano along with the voices of the tone generator. You can achieve spectacular sounds for example by selecting orchestral strings as the background of the acoustic piano. Or mix the digitized sound of the concert CFX piano with the instrument’s own natural sound for even more powerful piano sound.
The sound of a Yamaha CFX TransAcoustic piano has a meticulous sample system using binaural technology from the Yamaha CFX concert grand piano, the piano most requested by great pianists nationally and internationally. You will be able to experience the sound of a grand concert grand piano in a much more compact instrument.
